Welcome! I'm Amanda - the heart behind Na Rae Travel Co.

I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and adopted at just three days old. My birth name, "Na Rae," means "wings" - often used in songs and poems to describe freedom, soaring, and dreams of taking flight. It's fitting, because travel has always been my way of taking flight.

Raised in a military family, I had the incredible opportunity to live and travel around the world. I've spent half my live overseas and the other half in the United States, immersed in cultures, languages, and unforgettable experiences. That journey sparked a lifelong passion for travel; one that I now share through helping others create their own travel adventures.

My professional experience includes eight years as a Civilian Director and Contracting Officer Representative with the U.S. Army and nine years as a Family Law Senior Paralegal and Operations Manager at a Washington State Law Firm. The positions I've held had specific roles in scheduling, operations, and public service, leading to the exceptional attention to detail, organization, and care to every itinerary I design.

In 2023, I fully embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, traveling solo and experiencing life on the move. From applying for international visas (like Turkey, Vietnam, and Thailand) to crafting seamless, budget-conscious, and luxurious travel plans, I've done it all - and now, I do it for my clients.
